Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker is seeking a Maintenance Tech II for the 2nd shift (3:00pm - 11:00pm) in Kentucky. You will oversee maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex manufacturing equipment, lead technicians, and drive reliability improvements to minimize downtime.

The role requires 3+ years in industrial maintenance, strong mechanical/electrical skills, and familiarity with PLCs/VFDs. You will work with production and engineering teams, maintain CMMS records, and ensure OSHA safety

Qualifications

• Three years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Proficient with CMMS for maintenance records.
• Experience with PLCs and VFDs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment (e.g., conveyors, motors, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatic systems).
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and PLC-related issues in production equipment.
• Diagnose and repair or replace faulty components (bearings, belts, sensors, wiring, etc.).
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
