Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker in Montpelier, IN is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift (2pm-10pm). Training on the 1st shift is available, with compensation at $32.18 per hour plus a 5% shift differential.

You will perform preventative maintenance on production machinery, disassemble/reassemble equipment, and repair devices as needed. Candidates should have 3–5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience and basic computer skills, including MS Office.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years manufacturing maintenance experience – Required
• Ability to read electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics
• Must maintain a personal tool inventory to complete most common maintenance jobs
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment per established schedules
• Disassemble and reassemble machinery and equipment per guidelines
• Repair or modify machinery and equipment as needed
• Prepare a list of materials required to perform tasks
• Operate PIV and aerial lift to move and maintain equipment
• Record work performed in maintenance log
