Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker in Montpelier, IN, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift (2pm-10pm) with a starting wage of $32.18 per hour plus a 5% shift differential. This role requires performing preventative maintenance on production machinery, disassembly/reassembly, and performing repairs to keep the line running efficiently.

You will work on the production floor in a dynamic environment, with hearing protection and variable temperatures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required, or equivalent
• 2 year college degree in related field or equivalent experience preferred
• 3–5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery per schedules
• Disassemble and reassemble machinery per guidelines
• Repair, install or modify equipment and systems
• Prepare material lists and order parts as needed
• Operate PIV or aerial lift to access equipment
• Record work in maintenance log and maintain 6S housekeeping
