Job summary

Greystar on-site maintenance technician position handling technical repairs and routine upkeep for a residential community. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure safety and cleanliness align with Greystar standards.

Responsibilities include make-ready coordination, preventive maintenance, budgeting support, and collaboration with vendors. A strong focus on resident service and OSHA compliance is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; related maintenance experience.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal certification required for HVAC work.
• Ability to read and follow repair manuals; basic math for parts.
• Own hand tools unless prohibited by state law.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair defects in units and common areas per policy and safety standards.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant homes; schedule vendors and order supplies.
• Maintain grounds, exteriors, interiors to reflect Greystar quality.
• Inspect work and contractors to ensure quality and cost control.
• Complete monthly preventive maintenance and assist budget planning.
