Job summary

ResProp Management in Fletcher, NC seeks an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee all service operations at our apartment communities. You will supervise maintenance teams, coordinate work orders, manage vendor relationships, and uphold safety standards.

The role requires extensive hands-on maintenance, EPA Universal certification, and preferably CPO. You must live within 30 minutes of the property and be able to operate on a rotating on-call schedule.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of general maintenance and 3+ years in apartment industry experience.
• Management experience required.
• EPA Universal certification required.
• CPO certification preferred.
• Trade skills including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, framing, painting, roofing, cabinetry, pools, appliance work.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the service operations to ensure goals are achieved.
• Oversee and schedule all in-house and vendor work and manage response times.
• Maintain a positive attitude and provide quality customer service to residents.
• Train maintenance teammates and support career growth.
• Oversee safety, OSHA standards, and incident prevention.
• Walk apartments during turnover to assess repairs and make units rent-ready.
