Job summary

Volunteer Properties seeks an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead daily operations at our apartment communities. You will manage a team, schedule upkeep, and coordinate with managers to maintain safe, well‑maintained properties.

The role requires 5–7 years in multi-family maintenance, EPA Certification, strong budgeting and leadership skills, and the ability to use property management systems. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of multi-family maintenance experience.
• EPA Certification required.
• Proven ability to operate property management systems and related tech.
• Strong planning and leadership to inspire growth.
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Budgeting and performance management understanding.
• Fair Housing Laws certification/knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and be accountable for the work product of your team.
• Keep your team energized, motivated and skilled.
• Collaborate with Community Manager and Regional Community Manager on property goals and processes to reach them.
• Ensure the smooth running of upkeep and/or repair operations.
• Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and maintenance needs.
• Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work.
