Job summary

Franklin Group is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team and coordinate daily tasks for the community in Washington, DC. The role focuses on timely repairs, inventory control, and efficient upkeep of buildings and grounds.

You will oversee work orders, scheduling, safety, and vendor coordination, ensuring OSHA standards are met. A high school diploma or GED and 3–5 years' related experience are preferred; HVAC certification is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 3–5 years of related experience and/or training.
• HVAC certification is required for this position.
• Fair Housing Certification is required within 1 day of hire.
• Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT) is highly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Inventory, ordering and delivery of supplies for maintenance, custodial and grounds teams.
• Respond promptly to work orders and make-readies.
• Schedule and perform preventative maintenance.
• Ensure OSHA standards and safety policies are followed at all times.
• Coordinate in-house and vendor work and supervise staff.
• Support interviews and training for maintenance personnel.
