Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking an Affordable Maintenance Supervisor in Oakland, CA. The role oversees day-to-day maintenance operations, ensures compliance with company policies and regulations, and leads a team to complete tasks from service requests to unit turns.

Responsibilities include performing electrical, plumbing, carpentry and HVAC repairs, managing safety and resident satisfaction, and assisting with budget adherence and long-term planning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least three years of experience in the property management industry or directly related field.
• Possess general maintenance and carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day maintenance operations and upkeep of the assigned property.
• Ensure compliance with Avenue5 policies and local, state and federal regulations.
• Manage service requests and unit turns to standards.
• Perform repairs to electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, grounds and related systems.
• Monitor work orders and maintain safety, cleanliness and resident satisfaction.
• Maintain cost controls and assist with budgeting and purchasing.
