Job summary

APC is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead and develop the plant maintenance team, ensuring safe and efficient operation of production equipment. Qualifications

• Associates or bachelor’s degree in Maintenance, Industrial Technology, Engineering or related field preferred/5-7 years of related work experience.
• Three years of experience in a food processing environment preferred; five years equipment maintenance experience; three years supervisory experience; strong electrical and PLC knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance crew for equipment installation and maintenance.
• Develop, train, evaluate, coach, and ensure safety of the maintenance team.
• Develop, implement and prioritize preventive maintenance for operations machinery, plant, utilities and grounds.
• Monitor safety compliance and coordinate with engineering/production for layouts and modifications.
• Coordinate with contractors/vendors for cost-effective installations or repairs.
• Prepare and manage maintenance budget and review purchase orders for ongoing projects.
• Process work orders from production supervisors and prioritize impact on plant operations.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks as required.
• Provide coverage in the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor.
