Job summary

Lakeside Foods is seeking a Plant Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and repair of equipment in our high-volume food production facility. This hands-on role emphasizes preventative maintenance, safety, and operational efficiency, with responsibility for supervising mechanics and coordinating scheduling with the Operations Manager.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in industrial maintenance, a related degree, and certifications such as CMRT/CMRP or PLC certification.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in industrial or warehouse equipment maintenance.
• Full operational understanding of all machinery in the warehouse process.
• Preferred: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in industrial maintenance.
• Maintenance Certifications (CMRT or CMRP) and PLC Certification are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on plant equipment.
• Lead major repairs, overhauls, and rebuilds of critical equipment.
• Identify root causes of failures and implement solutions to reduce downtime.
• Collaborate with operations teams to optimize equipment layout and performance.
• Schedule and supervise maintenance staff and seasonal workers.
• Support capital projects and equipment upgrades.
