Job summary

Pilgrim is seeking an experienced maintenance supervisor to lead a team in a high-demand industrial setting. The role focuses on safety, food-safety program adherence, and efficient maintenance execution across plant machinery.

The position requires strong electrical/hydraulic/welding knowledge and PLC exposure, with 3–5 years in maintenance. Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills are essential for collaboration with production and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with technical training in mechanical area
• 3–5 years in general industrial maintenance
• General knowledge of plant machinery
• Background in electrical, hydraulic, welding and some PLC training
• Fluent English, both written and verbal
• Interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Enforces safety policies and procedures in plant areas
• Ensures HAACP and government program compliance
• Directs maintenance/technical work by assigned employees
• Coordinates with planner on work schedules
• Advises management of equipment failures or maintenance needs
• Provides prompt, efficient, quality service to production
• Reports maintenance labor hours accurately
• Aims to reduce downtime from mechanical/technical issues
• Executes maintenance work in own area
• Directs activities of mechanics/technicians under supervision
• Ensures efficiency and effective use of labor and resources
