Applicants should have Bachelor’s in Engineering or Journeyman card with 8+ years’ experience or an equivalent combination, plus strong leadership, lean manufacturing knowledge, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s of Science in Engineering and/or Journeyman card with 8+ years of experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.
• Demonstrated leadership in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing setting.
• Strong problem resolution, communication, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Lean manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adhere to union guidelines.

Responsabilités

• Lead Skilled Tradesmen to drive production goals while ensuring safety, quality, and housekeeping.
• Direct activities to meet production targets and improve overall performance.
• Review root cause analyses to evaluate equipment and manpower needs.
• Ensure policy and procedures are consistently applied across shifts.
• Coordinate with operations, materials, engineering, quality and other departments.
• Assist in budgeting and resource forecasting for maintenance and projects.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental programs and union rules.
