Job summary

Carvana is seeking a Line Lead Supervisor to directly manage a team in an Inspection Center, driving safety, quality, and daily output. You will oversee multi-stage production lines across automotive reconditioning, detailing, and finishing.

The role emphasizes leadership, training, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment. Applicants should have prior supervisory experience in high-volume manufacturing, with LEAN knowledge and the ability to coordinate diverse processes such as

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory or lead experience within a high-volume manufacturing, production, or assembly environment.
• LEAN Manufacturing Experience: Working knowledge of LEAN principles (5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma, Kanban).
• Experience overseeing diverse operational processes including mechanical assembly, inventory handling, and finishing stages.

Responsibilities

• Production Line Management: oversee daily operations across multi-stage production lines for safety and output.
• Cross-Functional Workflow: manage movement of inventory through production cycle from assembly to inspection.
• Team Leadership: train and mentor technicians and specialists across multiple workstations.
• Quality Control & Finishing: enforce standards for aesthetic, structural, and functional specs before release.
• Process Optimization: identify bottlenecks and streamline transitions between zones.
• Continuous Improvement: drive process standardization and root-cause problem solving on the floor.
