Job summary

Ford in Avon Lake, OH is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead an hourly manufacturing team, drive safety, quality and productivity. You will balance strategic goals with daily execution, applying data-driven insights to cut downtime and defects while guiding a high-performing, engaged workforce.

Ideal candidates hold a manufacturing-related engineering degree and 3–7+ years of supervisory experience, with Lean/Six Sigma and PLC familiarity a plus for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 3–7+ years supervising manufacturing teams (military experience counted).
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Fundamental PLC logic and controls knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead hourly team to meet production targets and ensure safety.
• Drive operational excellence and improve product quality.
• Focus on data-driven downtime reduction and quality improvements.
• Apply bias for action to address safety and quality issues.
