Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance activities across the plant, ensuring optimal equipment performance, reliable utility systems, and efficient operations. You will lead a maintenance team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include supervising repair and upkeep, planning work schedules, developing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and supporting facility improvements while ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in poultry or food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration, PLCs/electrical systems, plumbing, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance team responsible for repair, installation, and upkeep of plant equipment, facilities, and utility systems.
• Plan, assign, and monitor work schedules to ensure timely and effective completion of maintenance activities.
• Maintain production equipment to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs to ensure consistent execution and equipment reliability.
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues and support team members in problem-solving and technical development.
• Support facility improvements and manage procurement of tools, equipment, and supplies to drive efficient operations.
• Other duties as assigned.
