Job summary

Pilgrim’s Broadway Plant is seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Lead to oversee the maintenance team and keep the facility running efficiently. You will restore breakdowns quickly and safely, assist production daily, and step in for the supervisor when needed, while training new hires.

The role emphasizes a strong mechanical background, welding/plumbing skills, and experience with cutting tools. Excellent attendance and safety records are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Maintenance training/experience required.
• Minimum of three years mechanical background.
• Knowledge of welding and plumbing.
• Able to operate cutting torch and plasma cutter.
• Able to operate loaders.
• Excellent attendance and safety record.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the department runs at the set efficiency and breakdowns are restored quickly and safely.
• Assist production in daily operations of the department and be proactive to production needs.
• In absence of supervisor, assume supervisor responsibilities and train team members/new hires.
