Job summary

Pilgrim’s Broadway Plant is seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Lead to keep the department running at target efficiency. You will oversee maintenance activities, rapidly restore breakdowns, and support production while training team members.

You may assume supervisor duties in the absence of the supervisor and help guide new hires. The role requires a strong mechanical background, welding and plumbing skills, and the ability to operate cutting torches and plasma cutters, loaders, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Additional maintenance training/experience required.
• Minimum of three years mechanical background.
• Knowledge of welding and plumbing.
• Must be able to operate a cutting torch and plasma cutter.
• Able to operate loaders.
• Excellent attendance, safety and work records.

Responsibilities

• Ensure department runs at target efficiency and promptly restore breakdowns.
• Assist production in daily operations of the department.
• Be proactive to production needs and train new hires.
• Assume supervisor responsibilities in the absence of the supervisor.
