Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to supervise skilled trade workers responsible for the upkeep of equipment, structures, and utility systems in a poultry processing facility. You will direct painting, repairs to masonry and woodwork, and maintenance of building systems while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

The role requires coordination of schedules, enforcement of company policies, and hands-on leadership to resolve maintenance challenges and minimize downtime,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years of directly related experience.
• Experience in a poultry processing environment.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates activities of skilled trade workers engaged in maintenance and repair of equipment, structures, and utility systems.
• Supervises and assigns work for painting, masonry, woodwork, and building systems repairs.
• Inspects completed work for conformance to blueprints, specifications and standards.
• Develops work schedules and assigns tasks to subordinates.
• Interprets and enforces company policies and procedures.
• Analyzes and resolves work problems and supports technicians on projects.
• Oversees construction or alteration of facilities and preventive maintenance programs.
• Maintains production equipment to minimize downtime and orders tools and supplies.
• Administers training and ensures proper operations and preventive maintenance.
