Job summary

Prairie Farms Dairy Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Group Leader to oversee plant operations on a 2nd shift, reporting to the Maintenance and Reliability Manager.

You will lead work teams and major projects while ensuring compliance with food safety, quality and regulatory requirements. Key duties include driving continuous improvement, developing standard work, coaching supervisors, coordinating with other leaders, and maintaining safety, food safety, and productivity goals.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in mechanical or electrical discipline is required.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering is preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Technical experience with ammonia refrigeration and Process Safety Management (PSM) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead work teams and major projects while ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement using standard work, problem solving, and daily management.
• Coach and develop group leaders with bi-weekly coaching and performance reviews.
• Coordinate with other leaders to identify and resolve cross-team issues.
• Maintain standard work and support hiring processes.
• Stay current with industry trends and technology and promote company vision.
