Job summary

Daisy Brand is seeking a Maintenance Manager for the 2nd shift at our Boone, IA facility. This role leads a maintenance team across technicians, planners, and parts staff to ensure reliable, safe, and compliant plant operations.

The position involves significant travel for onboarding, with future relocation to the new Boone plant. Ideal candidates have a strong background in PLC/HMI, CMMS, and continuous improvement in a high-volume dairy environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Reliability, Industrial Engineering or related field or equivalent maintenance leadership experience.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive maintenance experience in manufacturing operations.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience managing maintenance personnel.
• Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance practices, reliability concepts, and preventive/predictive maintenance systems.
• Minimum 5 years of experience troubleshooting industrial automation and control systems, including PLCs and HMI platforms.
• Experience utilizing CMMS to manage maintenance activities and asset history.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance organization of technicians, planners, and parts staff.
• Set daily maintenance priorities and coordinate resources to minimize downtime.
• Provide technical leadership during equipment failures and disruptions.
• Ensure maintenance work is safe, efficient, and compliant with standards.
• Coordinate with Operations, Reliability, Utilities, Engineering, and Quality teams to maximize production effectiveness.
• Respond to emergencies and issues outside normal hours when required.
