Job summary

Performance Food Group seeks an experienced maintenance professional to oversee repairs, installs, and preventive maintenance of refrigeration systems, HVAC, and related equipment in a warehouse setting.

The role requires hands-on maintenance, coordination of the team, and adherence to safety and quality standards. Strong training credentials such as HVAC and forklift certification will be valued, with opportunities for growth within the maintenance organization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 years experience in maintenance related to warehouse/production.
• Associates/2-year technical: Maintenance training/certification preferred.
• 2-4 years experience in maintenance warehouse/production environment preferred.
• Team lead experience beneficial.
• OSHA forklift operator certificate; HVAC certification; ammonia refrigerant training and certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the maintenance crew to ensure safety, quality, and procedures are met.
• Coordinates maintenance work for the immediate area and supports trainee training.
• Troubleshoots, repairs, maintains, and installs refrigeration systems, HVAC, and related equipment.
• Performs maintenance and installations on various equipment within the facility.
• Maintains facilities and grounds per schedule, handles emergency and non-emergency situations.
• Keeps maintenance area clean and reports, completes paperwork at shift end.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
