Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee and perform troubleshooting, repair, maintenance and installations of refrigeration systems, HVAC, and related equipment across facilities. You will lead the maintenance crew, coordinate work for your area, and ensure safety and quality standards are met throughout production operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience.
• 1-2 years Experience in maintenance related to warehouse and / or production environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the maintenance crew to ensure safety regulations, procedures, quality standards are met.
• Coordinates Maintenance work for immediate area. Assists in Maintenance Trainee training. Relieves Maintenance personnel for breaks.
• Performs the troubleshooting, repair, maintenance and installations of refrigeration systems, coolers, air compressors, Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems and apparatus.
• Performs maintenance, repairs and installations on various equipment,
• Maintains, replace, build, adjusts and modifies the facilities, buildings and the grounds according to a set schedule and in emergency and non-emergency situations.
• Performs general housekeeping duties and keep maintenance area orderly and clean as required. At the end of the shift secure all equipment and complete all necessary reports and paperwork.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
