Job summary

Performance Food Group in Elizabeth, NJ is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and installations of refrigeration, HVAC, and related systems across our facilities. You will supervise maintenance staff, coordinate work, and ensure safety and quality standards while maintaining production flow.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience.
• 3 - 5 years experience.
• Warehouse and / or production environment experience.
• Experience in maintenance warehouse and / or production environment within foodservice industry preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises associates to include, but not limited to: staffing, training, coaching, performance management and problem resolution.
• Oversees and provides guidance to the maintenance crew to ensure safety regulations, procedures, quality standards and budget are met.
• Coordinates Maintenance work. Provides Maintenance Trainee training. Relieves Maintenance personnel for breaks.
• Performs the troubleshooting, repair, maintenance and installations of refrigeration systems, coolers, air compressors, Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems and apparatus,
• Performs maintenance, repairs and installations on various equipment.
• Maintains, replace, build, adjusts and modifies the facilities, buildings and the grounds according to a set schedule and in emergency and non-emergency situations.
• Performs general housekeeping duties and keep maintenance area clean. Secure all equipment, as needed. Complete all necessary reports and paperwork.
• Performs other duties as assigned
