The Grove Apartments in Danville, IL is seeking an experienced Lead Maintenance HVAC to supervise and perform essential maintenance tasks at a HUD community. Lead duties include coordinating turn‑overs, repairs, and safety compliance while delivering top notch resident service.

Ideal candidates have apartment maintenance experience, HVAC knowledge, and a valid EPA HVAC certification. Leadership and strong organization are highly valued, with a Monday–Friday schedule and rotating emergency

Qualifications

• Experience in apartment maintenance and supervision.
• EPA HVAC certification preferred or required.
• Knowledge of HVAC, carpentry, plumbing and electrical work.
• Reliable, organized and solution oriented.

Responsabilités

• Respond to maintenance requests promptly in a HUD community.
• Resolve A/C, electrical, plumbing and appliance issues.
• Prepare vacant units for market readiness with turn-over repairs.
• Maintain grounds and common areas, including snow removal.
• Provide residents with excellent customer service.

Description

The Grove Apartments in Danville, IL is now hiring for an experienced Lead Maintenance HVAC.

Duties:

• Respond and complete residential service requests in a timely manner
• Resolve maintenance issues in the area of A/C, electrical, plumbing and appliance repair
• Prepare vacant apartments for market ready status through turn-over repairs and improvements
• Maintain snow removal, cleaning and maintenance of grounds, including common areas
• Provide residents with outstanding customer service

Requirements

• Previous apartment maintenance experience required
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, general electrical.
• HVAC (EPA) Certification required
• Reliable, organized, and solution-oriented
• Must have reliable transportation
• This is a Monday to Friday schedule with rotating emergency weekends.

Requirements

Requirements: Experienced Maintenance Lead for 100% HUD community in Danville IL. 150 units on 10 acres. HVAC license a plus but not required. Working knowledge of window ac unit repair; electrical repairs; boiler repairs; make readies; inventory control; strong communication skills; highly organized; great time management skills.
