Job summary

The Grove Apartments by Tarantino Properties, Inc. in Danville, IL is seeking an experienced Lead Maintenance HVAC for our 100% HUD community. You will oversee repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliances, and coordinate turn-overs for market-ready units.

Responsibilities include responding to service requests, maintaining common areas, and delivering outstanding resident service. HVAC EPA certification is preferred; leadership experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• HVAC systems knowledge and hands-on repair experience required.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Resolve HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance issues in HUD community.
• Prepare market-ready vacants with turn-over repairs and improvements.
• Maintain grounds and common areas; provide excellent resident service.

Description

The Grove Apartments in Danville, IL is now hiring for an experienced Lead Maintenance HVAC.

Duties:

• Respond and complete residential service requests in a timely manner
• Resolve maintenance issues in the area of A/C, electrical, plumbing and appliance repair
• Prepare vacant apartments for market ready status through turn-over repairs and improvements
• Maintain snow removal, cleaning and maintenance of grounds, including common areas
• Provide residents with outstanding customer service

Requirements

• Previous apartment maintenance experience required
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, general electrical.
• HVAC (EPA) Certification required
• Reliable, organized, and solution-oriented
• Must have reliable transportation
• This is a Monday to Friday schedule with rotating emergency weekends.

Requirements

Requirements: Experienced Maintenance Lead for 100% HUD community in Danville IL. 150 units on 10 acres. HVAC license a plus but not required. Working knowledge of window ac unit repair; electrical repairs; boiler repairs; make readies; inventory control; strong communication skills; highly organized; great time management skills.
