The ValCap Group, LLC is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician (HVAC certified) to oversee maintenance operations for our apartment community. You’ll supervise, mentor, and guide the team to deliver safe, well-maintained homes for residents.

Ideal candidates bring HVAC certification, 3–5 years in multifamily maintenance, and strong leadership. You’ll manage repairs, coordinate make-readies, and uphold safety standards while delivering reliable service.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification is required.
• 3–5 years of multifamily property maintenance, lead/supervisory preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, and carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Perform and delegate general repairs, including plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and preventative maintenance.
• Lead unit inspections, make-ready turnovers, and ensure curb appeal standards are met.
• Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain tools and equipment in proper condition.
• Train, mentor, and support maintenance staff to promote skill development and efficiency.
• Participate in and supervise the on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, regulations, and company policies.
