Job summary

Amentum seeks a M365 & Identity Engineer, Lead, to design, deploy, and support Microsoft 365 services, Entra ID, and IAM across hybrid environments.

The role requires 8+ years of M365 engineering and enterprise IAM experience, plus US citizenship. It is US remote telework with opportunities to lead projects and mentor staff. Certifications like MS-102, SC-300, SC-100, or AZ-104 are preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years hands-on M365 administration/engineering with a Bachelor’s degree.
• Enterprise IAM Experience (Identity & Access Management).
• Experience with Active Directory and Entra ID, External Identities, Conditional Access, RBAC, MFA, and lifecycle management.
• Experience supporting hybrid identity (On‑ Prem Exchange, Entra ID Connect, federation, sync).
• US Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain M365 services including Exchange Online, Purview, OneDrive, Teams, and SharePoint Online as secondary support.
• Manage Entra ID identity services including CA, external identities, MFA, SSO, and lifecycle processes.
• Support Okta and other identity platforms.
• Develop and enforce M365 governance, security policies, and compliance configurations.
• Troubleshoot issues across M365, identity platforms, and hybrid environments.
• Automate using PowerShell or other scripting tools.
• Provide technical guidance during audits and incident response.
• Lead teams on small projects and mentor junior staff.
