Primrose Post-Acute seeks an experienced nursing supervisor to oversee the daily functions of nursing assistants in a long-term care setting. The role ensures staff adherence to facility policies and nursing procedures while contributing to quality assurance initiatives and discharge planning.

The position involves directing admissions, transfers, and documentation, with emphasis on accurate charting and regulatory compliance to maintain high-quality resident care.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility.
• Ensure that all nursing personnel assigned to you comply with the written policies and procedures established by this facility.
• Maintain and implement the facility's Nursing Service Procedures Manual and ensure adherence by staff.
• Participate in the development, maintenance, and implementation of the facility's quality assurance program for the nursing service department.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required and assist with discharge planning.
• Complete and file required recordkeeping forms/charts for resident admissions, transfers, and discharges.
