Job summary

Northstar Post Acute is seeking an experienced LPN/LVN Nurse Supervisor to lead day-to-day nursing care coordination in a long-term care setting. You will supervise nursing assistants, ensure adherence to policies, and contribute to the facility's quality assurance program.

The role requires an active Nevada nursing license, CPR certification, and strong leadership and documentation skills to maintain high standards of resident care.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Active license to practice in the state; CPR certification required.
• Experience in nursing supervision and QA processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day nursing assistants' functions to ensure quality resident care.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory guidelines and prepare reports as needed.
• Lead staffing assessments, shift planning, and performance feedback to the Nurse Supervisor.
• Participate in discharge planning and interdisciplinary care meetings with physicians.
• Oversee charting accuracy, medication administration, and safety protocols.
