Job summary

Requires 5+ years in management with at least 3 years in housekeeping management, plus hands-on experience with in-house laundry.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of management experience, with at least 3 years in housekeeping management.
• Experience managing in-house operated laundry operations.
• Thorough knowledge of housekeeping and laundry operations and job requirements.
• Ability to work with other department leaders.
• Ability to resolve guest, supervisor, and associate conflicts.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
• Team player with or without accommodation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and monitor staff workload to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards across guestrooms and public spaces.
• Develop housekeeping and laundry budgets.
• Develop and implement controls for expense management.
• Conduct periodic inventory of guest supplies, small equipment and linen.
• Utilize labor management tools to schedule and control labor costs.
• Schedule labor to align with forecasted occupancy, F&B activity, and events.
• Interview, hire, train, develop, and evaluate staff; address problems and discipline as needed.
• Provide clear direction to staff and communicate effectively.
• Interact with customers to resolve issues and maintain high satisfaction.
• Evaluate condition of furniture and decor; support preventive maintenance and rehab projects.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and OSHA guidelines.
• Maintain regular attendance and perform other duties as assigned.
