Job summary

Starwood Hotels is seeking an Assistant Director of Housekeeping & Laundry to lead a dynamic team in a luxury property. You’ll partner with the Director to develop and execute strategies, oversee daily operations, and ensure top-tier cleanliness and guest satisfaction in keeping with brand standards.

You will manage budgets, payroll, inventory, and staffing, while mentoring managers and driving a culture of Good-Natured Service across Front Desk, Laundry, and housekeeping leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years in a comparable leadership role.
• Strong working knowledge of housekeeping operations and standards.
• Proven leadership ability in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Preferred experience in luxury hotel or lifestyle brand; second language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, communicate, and execute departmental strategies aligned with property and brand objectives.
• Oversee daily housekeeping operations ensuring compliance with policies and standards.
• Lead budgeting, payroll accuracy, and expense control for the department.
• Monitor inventory, pars, and vendor relationships for supplies and linen.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and develop housekeeping team members and leaders.
• Foster open communication and employee engagement; recognize achievements and coach performance.
