Job summary

Dowbuilt is seeking a Project Manager to lead one-of-a-kind, high-end residential builds, coordinating closely with the site superintendent to guide the build team. This role requires technical and design acumen, integrity and professional communication with clients, partners, and in-house staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of high-end residential construction experience.
• Construction Management degree or other relevant education plus experience.
• Ability to travel regionally on occasion, and to Seattle home office for onboarding.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication, team-building, and mentoring skills.
• Ingenuity based on technical and materials knowledge.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Project, BlueBeam and/or Adobe Acrobat.
• Familiarity with web-based applications such as Slack, Asana, SmartSheet, and Airtable is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Sage 300 CRE is preferred.
• US Work Authorization

Responsibilities

• Manage project schedule, budget, resources, and documentation across the build lifecycle.
• Maintain timely communication with team, field, client, and design partners.
• Lead with integrity and oversee subcontractors, bids, contracts, and close-out.
• Participate in project estimating and pre-construction planning.
• Track financials, perform cost analysis, and suggest value engineering.
• Develop and co-own the active build schedule with the superintendent.
• Coordinate with Service Department and support company growth.
• Identify and manage subcontractors including RFPs, bids, contracts, and scope of work.
• Oversee materials management, submittals, take-offs, pricing, and orders.
