Job summary

Blue Origin LLC on the Space Coast, FL, is seeking an EGSE Hardware Development Engineer to drive the design, build, test, and operation of electrical ground support equipment for the Lunar Permanence program.

You will coordinate with software and vehicle teams to ensure integrated control and communication for lunar lander operations, while applying rigorous safety and quality practices in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BS in electrical, aerospace, mechanical engineering, computer science, or related field.
• 5+ years of applicable experience.
• Experience designing circuit card assemblies, test cable harnesses, and equipment enclosures.
• Ability to lift and install cabling, junction boxes, and other electrical equipment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of individual racks and other equipment from requirements to design, build, test and operation.
• Support EGSE procurement efforts.
• Collaborate with software engineers to integrate hardware control and communication systems.
