Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Structural Test Engineer III for the Lunar Permanence program on the Space Coast, FL. The role leads a small engineering team through structural test campaigns, participates in assembly and test of development and flight hardware, and coordinates with internal customers to ensure safe, repeatable spaceflight.

You will perform data reduction/analysis, identify MGSE needs, and drive test readiness through reviews, while upholding safety policies and cost-saving

Qualifications

• Passion for the mission and safety culture in spaceflight.
• 5+ years in structural testing or related test fields.
• Experience leading a small team (2-5 engineers).
• Knowledge of loads, life cycle, proof, modal, shock or acoustic tests.
• Ability to plan, execute, and analyze development and flight hardware tests.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team through a complete structural test campaign.
• Oversee assembly, test, data reduction and analysis of hardware.
• Identify design, procurement, and MGSE needs.
• Lead test operations, coordinate with internal customers and technicians.
• Conduct root cause and hazard analyses; manage test readiness reviews.
