Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of approved school of nursing.
• Current Massachusetts license as an LPN in good standing.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure care delivered is within safe professional nursing practice and established standards.
• Collaborate with MD/NP, nurses, social workers, therapists, and dietitians to meet patient needs.
• Adhere to best practice guidelines and implement evidence-based interventions.
• Practice in a primary nursing model with RN oversight of assessment and care planning.
• Collaborate in care planning and support patient autonomy and choice where possible.
• Document care activities in the EMR and maintain accurate records.
• Identify resources and report safety concerns as needed.
• Delegate and supervise nursing assistants and PCA staff under RN oversight.
• Participate in shared governance and quality improvement projects.
• Assist with unit activities and serve as a mentor to staff on the unit.
