Job summary

Sandridge Post Acute in is seeking a capable LPN/LVN Charge Nurse to supervise day‑to‑day nursing activities and provide direct patient care in a long‑term care setting. You will ensure adherence to federal, state, and local guidelines and coordinate with the Director of Nursing to maintain high‑quality care.

The role requires an active LPN/LVN license, Nursing degree, CPR certification, and proven leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active LPN/LVN license to practice in this state.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English; strong communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory abilities in a nursing setting.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day‑to‑day nursing assistants in accordance with rules and guidelines governing the long‑term care facility.
• Ensure nursing staff comply with facility policies and procedures.
• Maintain and update Nursing Service Procedures Manual and discharge plans as required.
• Participate in surveys and quality assurance activities; report on shift activities.
• Provide accurate nursing reports and coordinate with other departments as needed.
• Oversee medication administration and documentation to ensure safety and compliance.
