Job summary

SUNSETRIDGE is seeking an LPN/LVN supervisor to lead nursing staff, oversee daily nursing activities, and ensure high quality resident care in a long-term care facility. The position requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to direct nursing assistants in accordance with policies and regulations.

This role works under the Director of Nursing or Nurse Supervisor, coordinating shifts, maintaining the Nursing Service Procedures Manual, and participating in quality

Qualifications

• Must possess Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Must hold an active nursing license (RN or LPN/LVN) in the relevant state.
• Ability to supervise nursing staff and coordinate care in a long-term care facility.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing staff in accordance with current rules and facility policies.
• Ensure compliance with written policies, procedures, and regulations; participate in QA and safety programs.
• Plan shifts, coordinate care plans, and supervise discharge planning as required.
• Maintain Nursing Service Procedures Manual and ensure staff adherence to procedures.
• Write reports and communicate with management to improve nursing services.
