Job summary

Sandridge Post Acute in Citrus Heights, CA is seeking a licensed LVN/LPN to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants. The position operates on a 3-2-1 rotation and is full-time with a pay range of $36.00-$41.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.

The LVN/LPN will ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility policies, participate in discharge planning, document accurately, and support quality care through leadership of the nursing team.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree or be graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN/LVN in this state.
• Current CPR certification.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants and ensure compliance with policies.
• Direct nursing staff and coordinate with other departments to maintain quality care.
• Maintain Nursing Service Procedures Manual and ensure documentation is current.
• Administer and supervise medication administration, charting, and reporting.
