Job summary

LINDEN in is seeking an experienced Nursing Supervisor to direct daily nursing activities and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards. The position oversees nursing assistants, coordinates care plans, and maintains high-quality resident care in a long-term care setting.

The role requires a nursing degree or LPN/LVN credential and a current license, with strong leadership and communication skills essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN/LVN in this state.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Knowledge and experience with PCC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility.
• Ensure that all nursing personnel assigned to you comply with the written policies and procedures established by this facility.
• Participate in the development, maintenance, and implementation of the facility's quality assurance program for the nursing service department.
• Set up and review staffing plans, schedules, and program activities for the shifts.
• Cooperate with other resident services when coordinating nursing services to ensure residents' total care needs are met.
• Maintain and update the Nursing Service Procedures Manual and ensure compliance with its provisions.
