Job summary

PACS in Twinsburg, Ohio, seeks an experienced LPN/LVN nurse supervisor to oversee daily nursing activities and supervise nursing assistants. You will ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations, and collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain high-quality resident care.

You will direct staffing, maintain policies, and participate in quality assurance and discharge planning activities, while coaching staff to meet clinical and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Current, active license to practice as an LPN/LVN in the state.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures.
• Review and revise department policies and procedures.
• Plan shifts, services, programs, and activities.
• Maintain Nursing Service Procedures Manual.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure quality resident care.
• Maintain resident records, charts, and care plans.
• Supervise nursing staff and conduct regular rounds.
• Develop staff through training and supervision.
