Job summary

PACS is seeking a Nurse Supervisor (LPN/LVN) to provide direct nursing care and to supervise nursing assistants in a long-term care facility. The role requires coordination with the Director of Nursing to maintain high-quality care and adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.

The position emphasizes leadership, efficient shift planning, and ensuring compliance with Nursing Service Procedures Manual, patient safety, and accurate charting. A valid nursing license is required.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN/LVN in this state.
• Experience in supervising nursing staff and coordinating care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with written policies and procedures established by the facility.
• Lead staffing planning, shifts, services, and programs for the unit.
• Maintain Nursing Service Procedures Manual and ensure adherence to procedures.
• Oversee charting, documentation, and medication administration for residents.
