Job summary

Atlas Post Acute at Woodbury Country Club is seeking a nursing leader to oversee licensed practical nurses and CNAs, ensuring holistic resident care in a regulatory-compliant setting.

You will direct daily activities, administer medications, and coordinate care plans within an interdisciplinary team, while maintaining infection control standards and providing end-of-life care as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in long-term care preferred but not required.
• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current unrestricted RN or LPN license in practicing state.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Directs daily activities of LPN/LVN and CNAs according to regulations and policies.
• Promotes holistic resident care following the nursing model.
• Documents physician orders and carries them out.
• Administers medications and observes for adverse effects.
• Performs wound care, colostomy changes, tube feedings, IV administration as needed.
• Leads care plan updates and participates in interdisciplinary team meetings.
• Ensures infection control practices and coordinates with nursing leadership.
• Performs end of life care as required.
