Job summary

Amteck, LLC is seeking a skilled Technician 3 to join our field team in Greenville. You will lead a small crew to install, maintain, and repair cabling for low voltage systems, following project specs and codes.

The role emphasizes leadership, safety, and training others while delivering high-quality, compliant installations. Responsibilities include directing 4–6 technicians, installing ITS, CCTV, Access Control, and Paging equipment, and performing fault analysis with guidance from project

Qualifications

• 4 years of verified experience with low voltage systems and cabling.
• Ability to plan project workflow with understanding basis of design and task efficiency.
• Demonstrated experience with Infrastructure (ITS), Access Control/Security, Cameras (CCTV), and Paging systems.
• Demonstrated experience installing devices for Infrastructure (ITS), Access Control/Security, Cameras (CCTV), and Paging.
• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting Copper, Fiber, AV, Cameras, and Access Control Systems.
• Knowledge of BICSI, ANSI, TIA standards and NEC codes for low voltage installations.
• Must be able to read a measuring tape to 1/16 of an inch.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams of 4-6 technicians and install, repair, terminate, certify and troubleshoot low voltage cabling with guidance.
• Assist site Superintendent and assume responsibilities as needed.
• Demonstrate leadership, communication, and decision-making; train and supervise other technicians.
• Plan pathways and perform installations independently with minimal supervision.
• Install cabling and devices across ITS, Access Control, CCTV, and Paging systems.
• Handle MDF/IDF enclosures, rack installations, and proper cable labeling and routing.
• Ensure safety, inventory management, and adherence to standards and codes.
