Job summary

Amteck, LLC is seeking a Technician 3 to lead teams of 4-6 technicians in installing, terminating, and troubleshooting low voltage cabling and devices across ITS, Access Control, CCTV, and paging systems. The role requires leadership, safety focus, and strong communication skills to ensure client satisfaction and quality workmanship.

The Technician 3 will work under supervision, fill in for project managers when needed, and mentor junior staff while upholding project budgets and schedules.

Qualifications

• 4 years of verified experience with low voltage systems and cabling.
• Demonstrates aptitude to plan project workflow and task efficiency.
• Experience with Infrastructure (ITS), Access Control/Security, Cameras (CCTV), and Paging systems.
• Ability to terminate data jacks and mod plugs; read blueprints/schematics.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams of 4-6 technicians to install and troubleshoot low voltage cabling and devices.
• Assist site Superintendent and cover responsibilities as needed.
• Ensure work complies with BICSI, ANSI, TIA standards and NEC codes.
• Maintain inventory and safely operate test equipment.
