Job summary

Amteck is seeking a Low Voltage Technician to join our Greenville, SC team. You will install, maintain and repair low voltage cabling and devices in commercial and industrial settings, under supervision.

The role focuses on safety, quality workmanship, and learning to read schematics and drawings. You will pull cables and fiber, terminate cables, and work with a team across trades to deliver projects on time.

Qualifications

• Experience in the construction industry is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to read a measuring tape is required.
• Provide personal hand tools within 30 days per Amteck’s tool list.
• Demonstrates basic understanding of customer relationships and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair low voltage devices and cabling in commercial/industrial buildings.
• Pull cable and fiber; learn color codes and terminations.
• Read schematics, drawings, wire maps and other drawings.
• Work with other trades in a safe, productive manner.
• Be adaptable to cramped spaces, heights and varying weather conditions.
