Amteck in Lexington, KY seeks a Technician 3 to join the Technologies team. You will lead a small crew to install and troubleshoot low voltage cabling and devices, under supervision when needed.

The role requires ensuring quality work that meets NEC codes and project specs, with opportunities to train others and step in for a superintendent when required. The position is full-time, with benefits including health coverage, 401(k) match, paid holidays and PTO.

Qualifications

• Experience with low voltage systems and cabling.
• Ability to plan workflow and lead teams on-site.
• Familiarity with fiber and copper testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams of 4-6 to install, repair, and certify low voltage cabling and devices.
• Assist site Superintendent and assume duties as needed.
• Train and supervise other technicians; manage task schedules.
• Maintain inventory and safety certifications; ensure compliance with codes.
