Job summary

LINX is hiring a Low Voltage Foreman to lead crews across commercial projects including corporate offices, healthcare facilities, K-12 and higher education campuses, and data centers. You will own daily field execution, supervise 10–20 technicians, ensure safety, quality, and client communication, and report to the Project Manager.

This role builds a leadership ladder with opportunities to rise to Superintendent as project volume grows.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on low voltage or structured cabling installation experience.
• 1-2 years in a field leadership role (Lead Technician/Foreman or equivalent).
• Experience on large, complex commercial projects including healthcare or education environments.
• Proficiency with job-site safety practices and project documentation.
• Strong English communication skills for client and team interaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of low voltage technicians across active commercial construction job sites, setting daily goals and managing productivity.
• Handle workforce planning: crew scheduling, labor tracking, timesheets, and coordination with contract workers.
• Train technicians in installation methods, test equipment operation, safety procedures, and quality standards.
• Identify and address personnel issues on site, escalating when appropriate.
• Own daily execution of structured cabling, fiber optic, and low voltage infrastructure scopes and coordinate MACs and changes.
