Job summary

LINX is seeking a Low Voltage Foreman in Chantilly, VA to lead crews across diverse commercial construction projects, including offices, healthcare facilities, and education campuses. You will own daily field execution, supervise 10–20 technicians, and ensure quality, safety, and client communication on site.

The role offers a clear leadership ladder toward Superintendent roles as projects scale, with opportunities for training and ongoing certification support.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on low voltage or structured cabling installation experience.
• 1–2 years in a field leadership role (Lead Technician/Foreman).
• Experience on large or complex commercial construction projects, healthcare, education, or multi-tenant environments preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of low voltage technicians across active commercial construction sites, setting daily goals and ensuring productivity.
• Coordinate crew scheduling, labor tracking, and timesheet completion; manage contract workers as needed.
• Train technicians in installation methods, testing, safety procedures, and quality standards across varied projects.
• Identify personnel issues and escalate to the Superintendent or Project Manager when appropriate.
• Own daily execution of structured cabling and low voltage infrastructure; monitor progress, costs, and documentation.
