Job summary

LINX is hiring a Low Voltage Foreman in Salt Lake City to lead crews across commercial construction projects, including offices, healthcare facilities, and education campuses. You will own daily field execution, supervise 10-20 technicians, train staff, ensure safety, and maintain project quality while coordinating with PMs and estimators.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on low voltage or structured cabling installation experience with mastery of tools, methods, and quality standards
• 1-2 years in a field leadership role (Lead Technician, working Foreman) or equivalent
• Experience on large or complex commercial construction projects, healthcare, education, or multi-tenant commercial environments preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of low voltage technicians on active commercial construction sites, setting daily goals, managing productivity, and solving problems in real time
• Handle workforce planning: crew scheduling, labor tracking, timesheets, and coordination with contract workers
• Train technicians in installation methods, test equipment operation, safety procedures, and quality standards across varied projects
• Identify and address on-site personnel issues, escalating to the Superintendent or Project Manager as needed
• Own daily execution of structured cabling, fiber, and low voltage infrastructure scopes, including CAT6/6A, OM3/OM4 fiber, OS2, pathways, and cable tray
