Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Lead Solutions Design Engineer to develop and win new business for our Supply Chain Solutions and Dedicated Transportation offerings in Missouri.

You will design feasible, value-driven logistics solutions and lead pursuit teams through the full lifecycle from proposal to startup. The role requires deep knowledge of transportation and warehousing networks, advanced data analysis, and the ability to communicate complex designs to clients and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management or Industrial Engineering.
• Six years or more in the Transportation industry.
• Six years or more in the Warehousing and/or Manufacturing industry.
• Excel/PowerPoint/Access expertise.
• Tableau and data visualization knowledge.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support bid submission process by reviewing RFPs and developing initial hypotheses.
• Validate data, cleansing, profiling, baseline development & defining scenarios to model; develop cost and pricing models.
• Develop optimization strategies aligned with objectives and lead consulting projects.
• Meet with customers and cross-functional bid teams; support technical reviews and design validations.
• Lead startup transitions and ensure deployed processes match the plan.
